“Invisible Women is a game-changer; an uncompromising blitz of facts, sad, mad, bad and funny, making an unanswerable case and doing so brilliantly the ambition and scope – and sheer originality – of Invisible Women is huge; no less than the story of what happens when we forget to account for half of humanity. This is the story of two totally different girls — quiet, shy, artistic Emmie and popular, outgoing, athletic Katie — and how their lives unexpectedly intersect one day, when an embarrassing note falls into the wrong handsAll the crushes, humiliations, boredom, and drama of middle school are compressed into one surprising day in this extraordinary novel.

The Invisible Man is a novel by published as long ago as and ranks as one of the most famous scientific fantasies ever written. I did read this one many years ago along with The Time Machine by the same author but I don't have them in my collection.   Her book helped me understand what was happening to me and why. In learning how my brain works, I gained the power to change it. It all started when I went on an intense diet and lost 12kg in 30 days.

When I was 2 or 3 years old, my dad, who was a medical resident at the time and hardly had a minute to himself, sat me on his knee and asked me to tell him a story. He recorded what I said in a tiny book he made from cut-up index cards. We illustrated it together. This became a habit. I still have about 10 of the books we made before I was 5. “Invisible Solutions is an essential read for anyone faced with seemingly intractable business issues or simply looking for non-traditional approaches to traditional problem-solving. Stephen Shapiro’s extensive consulting background serves him well, offering practical insights and approaches that can be immediately applied to any industry.
